Installing miQ on Windows

Step 1: Download the appropriate miQ package (ie miqmod_x.y_win32.zip; x.y stands for the actual version;
if you are using the x64 version of windows, please look for a win64 version of miQ, if there is no one
available, use the win32 version which also works fine). You can find the lastest packages and updates
on murgel.mu.funpic.de/pub/games/warsow/miqmod/.

Step 2: Make sure that you have the current War§ow release. Visit www.warsow.net to get the lastest version.

Step 3: Create a new folder called "miQ" in your War§ow folder and extract your package to it.

Step 4: Create a shortcut to your War§ow binary. In the preferences, add the following to the target line:
+set fs_game miQ

You are ready to play miQ now.

IMPORTANT: DO ALWAYS START MIQ VIA THE SHORTCUT AND NEVER VIA WARSOW´S "MODS" MENU. OTHERWISE YOUR WARSOW
CONFIG FILES MAY TAKE DAMAGE!
